George Wimpey North Yorkshire is holding a special art exhibition to celebrate the opening of the new show homes at Forrester Park, the house builder’s development in Northallerton.

An exclusive preview evening showcasing work from some of the area’s finest artists, will be held in the new Arlington show home on Thursday 20 September, from 5pm to 8pm, where guests will be served with champagne and canapés.

The event, in association with Platinum Galleries in Northallerton, will also give visitors the chance to win a piece of art of their choice, worth up to £500.

The new show homes are the Fenwick, a four bedroom mews home and the Arlington, a four bedroom, three storey townhouse. Beautifully-designed, the Fenwick and the Arlington are perfect family homes with spacious living accommodation.

Kendra Sayers, sales executive at the development, said: “Anyone is welcome to come along to the preview evening to view the stunning new show homes, whilst also enjoying a sneak preview of some fabulous artwork!”

Following the preview evening, the artwork will remain on display until Thursday 4 October.

Forrester Park consists of just 56 properties and is located on Springwell Lane in Northallerton, set between the Yorkshire Dales and the North Yorkshire Moors.
