Held in conjunction with Platinum Galleries, the exhibition celebrated the best of the region’s artistic talent. A stunning piece by Knaresborough artist John D Wilson was the perfect prize for teacher Katrina given her subject – art!

Katrina, delighted with her prize, said: “The exhibition had double appeal for me. As an art teacher and a fan of the work shown by Platinum galleries I was obviously keen to attend, but I was also very interested in the exhibition venue – one of the townhouses available at Forrester Park.

“The concept of three storey living appeals to me and the Arlington view home used to stage the exhibition has certainly strengthened my interest.”

Other show properties on site include the Fenwick, a four bedroom mews home which shares the Arlington’s suitability for spacious family living.

In addition to the three storey, four bedroom Arlington townhouse, Forrester Park also features family homes including five bedroom semi detached properties and five bedroom mews properties.

Located on Springwell Lane in Northallerton, the development is set between the Yorkshire Dales and the North Yorkshire Moors. In addition to the excellent local amenities afforded by Northallerton’s High Street, the development also benefits from close proximity to a wealth of local leisure facilities includes a riding school, the nearby Romanby Golf & Country Club and Northallerton Rugby Club. Thirsk Racecourse is also only a short drive away.

Forrester Park is perfectly placed for transport, with the nearby A19 and A1 offering commuters easy access to the North and South.

Regular daytime bus services are available to Bedale, Leyburn, Hawes, Stokesley, Ripon, York and Darlington. The nearby train station has services to Thirsk, Middlesbrough, Darlington and York, as well as direct services to London and Edinburgh.

Durham Tees Valley Airport is also only a 30 minute drive from Forrester Park, with scheduled services to Amsterdam and London amongst other destinations.
