“When you actually walk into a new house it is immediately noticeable how much warmer it feels than an older property. That is because they have much more efficient heating systems, double glazing throughout and are much better insulated. All this helps to significantly reduce energy consumption and therefore energy bills.”

The report also finds that new homes are at least 40% more energy efficient and with climate change now constantly in the news it is vital everyone reduces their own personal carbon footprint.

Adele added: “Living in a new home can reduce carbon emissions by up to 60% so by moving to a brand new house you could not only save money, but also reduce the impact that your everyday life has on the environment and do your bit to help save the planet!”
