From the barracks to a new home

Former army radio operator, Peter Tingle, has started his march up the property ladder and reserved one of Redrow’s award-winning Debut properties in Selby.

After 14 years in the British Forces, including overseas postings to Germany, Bosnia, the Falkland Islands and Cyprus, Peter, 30, decided his next mission was to hang up his boots, settle in his own territory and find a place to call home.

Peter says: “People in the serving forces do find it so hard to get onto the property ladder due to the extensive travelling and never being posted in a place for more than three years…it proves to be a mission in itself!”
