Kickabout area in Stillington gets revamp
Stillington Community Centre has a new Kickabout area thanks to a partnership with George Wimpey North Yorkshire, who is building a new housing development nearby. The area, which children use to meet up and play sport, has been resurfaced, and has new fencing and drainage.Maria Gatehouse, regional sales manager for Becksmead, said: "At George Wimpey, we try to get involved with the local community wherever we build. This Kickabout area was highlighted to us as one of the places that could do with a bit of a make over, so we gladly stepped in to help provide a safe place for the local children to play."
George Wimpey is in the area with new housing development Becksmead, which is situated on Morrison Street. The development consists of just 53 properties including four bedroom, three storey townhouses and four bedroom detached homes and is perfect for families. Prices at Becksmead currently start from £164,950.
For more information about the development, call into the sales information centre on Morrison Street, which is open seven days a week, from 10am to 5.30pm or log onto Georgewimpey.co.uk.
