A boost for home buyers in Murton

14th September 2009 Print
A boost for home buyers in Murton Homebuyers can now benefit from a £500 every month off their mortgage for their first year at Fairfield Park, George Wimpey North Yorkshire’s development in Murton. Prices currently start from £159,950 for a four bedroom, three storey home.

The new George Wimpey mortgage subsidy scheme will give buyers at the popular development a huge boost by removing the usual money worries when buying a home for the first time or moving to a bigger property.

To participate in the scheme, all buyers have to do is buy one of the selected new properties at Fairfield Park, then every month the housebuilder will pay £500 towards their mortgage.

Debbie Whittingham, sales and marketing director for George Wimpey North Yorkshire said: “Buyers often find it difficult to afford their mortgage payments when they first move into their new home, when they also have furniture and furnishings to buy and their finances are stretched.

“The George Wimpey mortgage subsidy scheme goes a long way to alleviate the financial pressure on buyers every month for the first year in their property, and will enable more young professionals to own their own home, and more families to move to a larger property.”

If meeting the monthly payments is not your worry, then George Wimpey Deposit Match scheme may be able to help instead. George Wimpey will match the deposit put down by buyers, up to 10 per cent of the property’s value. The additional capital provides them with access to a wider range of mortgages, more competitive interest rates and reduced monthly payments.

The additional funds come in the form of an interest-free loan over 10 years. Homeowners have the reassurance that they own 100 per cent of their property from day one and there is no rent or interest to pay during the loan period.

The scheme is currently available on selected properties at Fairfield Park including a selection of beautiful four bedroom, three storey Arlington townhouses.

The ground floor of the Arlington features a large kitchen with a practical dining area and French doors that open onto the rear garden. On the first floor there is a family bathroom, a bedroom and an impressive living room with double doors that open onto a Juliet balcony. The second floor consists of three bedrooms including a luxury en-suite to the master bedroom.

Each Arlington property at Fairfield Park also benefits from a single garage, a private garden to the rear and a landscaped garden to the front.
