George Wimpey launches ‘Smart Money’ offer

Home-buyers in Leighton Buzzard can choose their new home now – and let George Wimpey pick up the rent or mortgage paid on their existing property until they move.

The ‘Smart Money’ offer, available at the leading housebuilder’s Billington Grove and Heath Meadows developments in Leighton Buzzard, is designed to help customers take advantage of the current market to secure a new home now before property prices rise.

With George Wimpey picking up the payments for their current home – and nothing to pay on their new house until they move in – they can also save thousands of pounds.

To qualify for their current home to be paid for by George Wimpey, Smart Money customers need to provide their last three bank statements as proof of their monthly mortgage or rental payments and, after 28 days, George Wimpey will hand over a cheque covering all payments to be made before the new home is ready to be occupied.

For example, if the customer’s existing monthly payments are £950, and their new home will be ready in six months, they will receive a lump sum for £5,700 – an ideal way to afford a fabulous holiday or amazing interior designs and furnishing options for their new dream home.
