TomTom WORK extends customer service with Fleetcheck tie-up
TomTom WORK, the B2B division of TomTom, has tied up with Fleetcheck Limited, one of the UK’s leading providers of on-line vehicle management software, to further extend and enhance its service offering to customers in the UK.The arrangement with Fleetcheck enables TomTom WORK to broaden the value of the system to encompass full fleet management, in addition to simple affordable vehicle tracking and connected navigation. This system will now monitor many aspects of the vehicle condition with live updates from the TomTom WORK system in the vehicle, which also allows direct communication of alerts to the driver. These measures provide a solid foundation for ensuring full compliance with legislation. This is particularly pertinent at the moment as company vehicle and driver related legislation is becoming increasingly rigorous.
The arrangement with Fleetcheck is that TomTom WORK customers will be able to access Fleetcheck Lite at no cost providing vehicle servicing MOT, road fund licence, insurance and warranty renewals alerts. This will enable companies to plan work schedules, manage cash flow and ensure that legal and manufacturer’s maintenance guidelines are adhered to.
The integration of these two important systems is a first for the industry. It provides company directors fleet administrators with important maintenance, safety and compliance information enabling them to manage their duty of care responsibilities whilst offering them a range of additional ways to reduce fleet costs.
