Privilege promises summer of savings for safe drivers

Privilege Insurance has announced that its guarantee to beat any car insurance renewal quote for drivers with four years or more no claims discount will continue through the summer. The decision to extend the guarantee until 31st August will mean Privilege has been beating renewal quotes for safe drivers for two years continuously since its re-launch in August 2004.

Over 11 million drivers have four+ years no claims discount, but recent research from Privilege found that only around half (55 per cent) actually shop around for their insurance to check they are being fully rewarded for their safe-driving record.

According to Privilege’s findings, an average saving of £127.52 was made by motorists with four+ years no claims discount at their last renewal – meaning that those who don’t shop around run the risk of missing out on a combined total of £1.4bn in savings compared to those who do research their insurance premiums.

Under the terms of Privilege’s guarantee, all renewal quotes for drivers with four+ years no claims discount will continue to be beaten, with most customers making significant savings. Privilege is able to offer competitive prices to drivers with four+ years no claims discount because they are less likely to be involved in an accident and make a claim.
