Protyre sole suppliers of Michelin Track Tyres in the UK

Protyre Motorsport, part of the UK’s leading independent tyre dealer network, has announced that from the beginning of January 2009 the company will become the sole supplier of Michelin track tyres in the UK. The announcement is a significant development in UK motorsport and reinforces Protyre Motorsport’s position as the leading supplier of track side tyre sales, fitting and associated services.

Protyre Motorsport has also announced that it will be the official trackside tyre suppliers for a number of high profile championships including the Porsche Carrera Cup, the Porsche Club & Open Championship, Ginetta G50 Cup, Ginetta Juniors and Ginetta G20 Seniors, Formula Renault & Renault Clio Cup.

Protyre Motorsport will provide fully equipped and highly mobile race/track day tyre fitting workshop facility at all major race meetings in 2009 offering special rates for affiliated partners. The company is also the official supplier of the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup road legal track day tyres.

In addition to supplying track and race tyres, Protyre has probably the UK’s largest stock of ultra-high performance tyres for the road available either direct from the company’s 31 outlets or by overnight UK delivery.
