In light of the football fever sweeping the UK, Persimmon Homes South Coast provided the trophies for the winners, medals and certificates for the first three teams, and hired a referee for the day.

Sonia Pamment, sales adviser for Persimmon Homes South Midlands, said: “The tournament proved to be a great day with both children and parents clearly enjoying themselves. The matches were fantastic – edge of your seat stuff. There are some truly great young footballers here and, as a home builder with a focus on community, we feel privileged to be supporting these children in the pursuit of their hobby, offering them a chance to shine.”

The big day went with a bang as Under 8’s winners ‘Cleobury Boys’ and Under 11’s winners ‘Coreley’ scooped the winners’ trophies. ‘Cleobury Boys’ comprised local children Matthew Shaw, Zeb Fidoe, George King, Zak May, Connor Carter, Reece Williams and Liam Williams while ‘Coreley’ consisted of Sam Link, Robbie Jordan, Tobi Cleeton, Connor Phelps, Emily Edwards and Kieron Martin.

Persimmon Homes’ Cleobury Meadows development in Cleobury Mortimer has proven particularly popular with local families due to the wide range of family homes available. Located off Catherton Road, the 82 plot development comprises a selection of two, three and four bedroom homes.

Prices currently start from £189,995. For further information on the properties available visit Persimmonhomes.com.
