When Paul and Vanessa Everitt bought their Persimmon home at Malvern Vale in Malvern, little did they know they would become the development's first residents. But that's exactly what has happened to the couple and their family.

Paul and Vanessa wanted to bring up their family in a brand new property and began the search for their dream home back in February 2008. They had been living in a two bedroom mid-terraced house and were looking for more space and a bigger garden.

Very quickly, the couple found a mid-terraced townhouse at Malvern Vale, which met all of their purchasing criteria. Paul said: "We'd already fallen in love with the Leicester design at another of Persimmon's developments, and when one became available in the area we were looking to move to, we knew that moving here would be right for us.

"We bought a three/four bedroom Leicester design, which has ample room for both Vanessa and I as well as our young children. We even use the fourth bedroom as a study and games room.

"What made the decision to move to a new house even easier was that Persimmon kindly offered to part exchange our existing property, which not only helped us financially, but also removed the stresses involved with having to sell our home."

The staff at Persimmon have helped to make our move seamless and stress free and have also given us vital information that we could have easily overlooked, we just wouldn't have received this sort of customer service if we'd bought second hand."
