Persimmon and Waitrose team up in Malvern

24th November 2008 Print
When you've just moved into a brand new property, there are so many things to think about - which room do you put each box in? What do you unpack first? And more importantly, where's the kettle so you can at least have a cup of tea!

Well, for Persimmon's residents moving to the beautiful Malvern Vale development in Malvern, the company has teamed up with local supermarket, Waitrose, to take the stress out of having going to the shops the minute you arrive to buy all the essentials, as a welcome hamper of goodies will be presented to all new residents on the first phase of properties released.

Alison Reading, sales director for Persimmon Homes South Midlands, states: "At Persimmon we understand the moving in process and the number of things you have to remember on the day, which is why we are working with Waitrose to provide our purchasers with some of the necessities they will need in the first few days in their new home."

Scott Whittaker, branch manager at the Waitrose store based on Edith Walk in Great Malvern, which is just over a mile from Persimmon's development, adds: "We hope that our welcome packs of food and home essentials will help the new residents of Malvern Vale to feel settled in their new home, and that the tea and coffee will provide a welcome rest from all of the unpacking!"

Prices at Malvern Vale range from £119,995 for a two bedroom apartment to £299,995 for a four/five bedroom property. The development is situated within the Malvern Hills, in Leigh Sinton Road, a short drive from Worcester, and offers good access to the M5.
