A change for the better in Pontllanfraith

A change for the better in Pontllanfraith For home buyers in the Blackwood area who want to secure their dream home quickly but still have a property to sell, house builder Redrow is offering them the option to part exchange.

Customers buying a home at the housebuilder’s picturesque Llys Ffynnon development in Pontllanfraith, can effectively ‘swap’ their existing property for a brand new Redrow home – a process which one local estate agent believes is helping to keep people moving in the current housing market.

This is in addition to Redrow’s new House Price Protection promise, which is designed to protect the value of a customer’s new Redrow home for up to three years*.

Redrow has appointed trusted local estate agent, Roberts and Co, of Blackwood, to manage the sale of customers’ existing properties, while the customers moves on and in to their dream home.

Tony Jones, area manager for Roberts and Co, said: “The part-exchange service offered by Redrow is helping to make a speedy move possible for many customers.

“It means they don’t have to wait until they have sold their home before moving and they are offered a realistic valuation on their home without the involvement of a long chain. Part-exchange is particularly useful when a keen seller has little interest in their home on the housing market.

“The range of three and four-bedroom homes at Llys Ffynnon will particularly appeal to families. There are a good local amenities and road access to local towns and cities, with Cardiff and Newport both just 20 minutes away by car.”

Julie Ells, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (South Wales), said: “Part-exchange is the ideal option for people who want to move right away, but are being held back by their current house. We can take care of the sale for them, leaving them to concentrate on moving to their dream Redrow property.”

Redrow has now released the final homes at Llys Ffynnon giving homebuyers the opportunity to snap up a brand new three or four-bedroom home surrounded by beautiful countryside.

The nearest railway station is located in Ystrad Mynach, approximately five miles away, connecting the main Inter-City service throughout the UK, and Cardiff International Airport is easily accessible by car within an hour.

A selection of three and four-bedroom homes is currently available at Llys Ffynnon priced from £169,995 to £264,995, with part-exchange available on selected plots.

Part-exchange and House Price Protection are among a variety of measures under the umbrella of ‘re:assure from Redrow’, which are designed to make moving as easy as possible and to boost home buyers’ confidence.

It cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount. If the property is sold within three years of legal completion at a price which is lower than the purchase price paid, Redrow will refund the difference up to 10% of the price paid. Offer valid on all properties reserved up to and including Sunday, March 2nd 2008.
