The time is now in Risca, Gwent

9th June 2008 Print
The time is now in Risca, Gwent Following the recent announcement of a proposed £60 million regeneration of the town of Risca, now is the time to buy a new home in the area - before prices soar. The proposal includes a new Tesco Extra store, a care unit and 10,000 sq ft of office accommodation as well as residential units close to the Ebbw River.

Extremely close to the proposed site is Charles Church's Millbrook development, offering a selection of homes which are ready to move in to. So, if buying a new house in an up-and-coming area sounds appealing then Millbrook could be the development for you.

Millbrook offers a selection of one, two and three bedroom homes, some over two storeys and others over three storeys. Offering a variety of housetypes, Millbrook offers something for all tastes and requirements.

Kath Faull, Sales Director for Charles Church Wales, says: "When we started building in Risca we knew it was an up and coming area. The recent announcement for regeneration in the area just confirms this. The homes at Millbrook are ready to move into, and now is a great time to buy, before the prices rise - which will inevitably happen when the revitalisation starts."

Charles Church's recommendation at Millbrook is plot 64, The Amroth - a one bedroom coach house which is currently available for just £86,250 with shared equity*. The home is located above a garage and offers a living room, separate kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen is well designed to combine style with practicality and has a range of useful units and a selection of appliances including a built-in oven, hob and extractor hood. The bathroom features crisp white sanitaryware and complementary walls tiles from a selected range.

Millbrook is located in Gwent, a town which offers a rural aspect yet is within close proximity to the city of Newport. The town offers a selection of local shops, a library and a comprehensive school. Newport - just seven miles away - offers a more extensive selection of amenities, with excellent shopping facilities, numerous restaurants, bars, pubs and nightclubs. The M4 is also easily accessed, offering good connections to Cardiff, the south of Wales and further afield.

Prices at Millbrook start at £86,250. To find out more about the homes available, and Charles Church's fantastic shared equity scheme, visit the showhome and marketing suite, both open daily between 10.30am and 5.30pm. Alternatively, visit Charleschurch.com for further details.
