Manheim Auctions Glasgow sets the standard in Scotland

Manheim took sole control of its Glasgow auction centre in October 2008 following a period of joint ownership, which began in August 2000. The 10 acre site located at Siemens Street, Blochairn sells approximately 20,000 vehicles each year with auctions on Tuesdays (cars), Wednesdays (commercial vehicles) and Friday evenings (cars).
Mike Pilkington, Managing Director, Manheim Auctions & Remarketing said: “Manheim is more than just another auction company and I believe that our Glasgow auction centre will raise the profile of both Manheim in Scotland and the many remarketing products and services we can provide. The Glasgow auction centre has been an integral part of Manheim’s growing presence throughout the UK and has become well established in the city and surrounding areas. The recent transition to sole ownership will help Manheim to grow the auction business and extend its customer base of both vendors and buyers in the months and years to come.”
Alan Wilson, Auction Centre Manager added: “The team here at Manheim Auctions, Glasgow is dedicated to providing a quality of service that will become the envy of the industry here in Scotland and I know that the many vendors and buyers that we have been dealing with over the years will make sure that we continue to meet their expectations each and every week.”
