Wine guru Oz Clarke paid a visit to Redrow’s own ‘fruity little number’ in Cardiff Bay - tantalising the taste buds of guests with his expert advice on how to find fine wines for around a fiver.

Visitors to the magnificent Celestia development were treated to Oz’s insider know-how on how to spot a ‘corker’ of a wine for around the purse-pleasing £5 mark.

Bev Wookey, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (South Wales) said: “The day was a fantastic success – Oz is a seasoned professional and his advice was appreciated by all the guests at the event. He was great fun and we were delighted he came along to share his knowledge of wine with an eager audience!

Former Daily Telegraph wine correspondent Oz produces an annual wine guide and has won numerous awards for his work. His diverse career, including a number of years as an actor for the Royal Shakespeare Company, began when he captained the wine-tasting team at Oxford University.
