Real Radio lucky listener scoops golden house brick

14th May 2007 Print
Vince Fitzpatrick Lucky radio listener Vince Fitzpatrick from Pontypool has scooped £5,000 after winning Persimmon Homes and Real Radio’s Golden Brick competition. Held over fifteen days the competition involved listeners having to identify the location of the Real Radio golden brick balloon.

Fifteen finalists were then invited to Persimmon Homes’ Wyncliffe Garden’s development in Pentwyn where they were each given a key to the development’s show home, only one of which unlocked the door to the £5,000 top prize.

The eleventh person to try his key in the door, Vince was absolutely delighted to win the competition and received his prize from Real Radio presenter, Chris Moore and Sharon Robinson, sales director for Persimmon Homes Wales.

“The Golden Brick was a fantastic competition which really got the local community talking and we were delighted to see so many people turn up to watch the final,” commented Sharon Robinson. “It was getting quite nerve wracking by the time Vince tried his key in the door, as we were beginning to wonder if any of the keys would work, so we were all relieved and delighted to see him scoop the top prize!”

A range of three and four bedroom homes including townhouse designs are currently available at Wyncliffe Gardens with prices starting from £225,000 for a four bedroom Oxford style townhouse. Both a show home and a view home are now open to view daily at the development which is situated less than two miles from the M4/A48 and close to public transport and community facilities.
