New show home draws buyers to Cardiff

The Howell family at Llandaff Grove An open weekend and the launch of a brand new show apartment attracted a large number of potential buyers to Barratt Homes’ Llandaff Grove development in Cardiff. Priced at £186,995, the one-bedroom show apartment has an unusual feature, as Sales Director Sandra Dixon explained.

“Although the property is a ground-floor apartment there is a carport underneath so the lounge is on the first floor and offers a balcony with views,” she said.

Located just a mile from the city centre but also close to the villages of Canton and Pontcanna, Llandaff Grove is attracting a wide range of buyers, from young professionals to older couples wanting to down size.

“It’s not surprising Llandaff Grove is proving so popular,” Sandra continued. “The development enjoys a private, gated environment and there’s a gym on site.

“Also, the location is naturally serene and relaxing. It’s encircled by the fields of Llandaff and Pontcanna but it’s also close to the thriving city centre – so residents can enjoy the best of town and country living.

“The 20 minute walk into the city is particularly scenic – running alongside the river Taff and passing through the impeccably manicured grounds of Cardiff Castle,” she added.

Once complete the development in Clive Road will feature 24 luxurious one and two-bedroom apartments, all with parking areas or carports.

The show apartment offers a lounge/diner with balcony; separate fully fitted kitchen with microwave, integrated oven and hob with extractor hood, washer and dryer and a bathroom with shower. Additional benefits include gas central heating and a security alarm.

Prices for the one and two-bedroom apartments range from £181,000 to £299,995 and financial incentives include five per cent deposit or stamp duty paid. For details of current availability visit the sales office, open seven day a week from 11am until 6pm.
