Sales advisor snaps up new apartment Where else would a Redrow sales advisor with ‘twinkle toes’ buy a new home but Cardiff Bay’s shining star of a development? Former professional dancer turned Redrow sales consultant Paul Gilbert, 42, snapped up a stunning waterside apartment at Celestia a couple of weeks before he became a permanent Redrow employee.

He had been working at the flagship development close to the city centre on a temporary basis after moving back to South Wales following a tour with his dance company in the USA when he decided to buy a beautiful two-bedroom apartment.

Paul said: “I’d been living in London and touring the USA with a dance show and when I returned home to South Wales I decided to move to Cardiff so I was still living in a vibrant city and it wasn’t so much of a culture shock.

“I chose a two-bedroom apartment at Celestia because of the high specification, close proximity to the city centre and fabulous views of Cardiff Bay.

“It’s great living and working in the same place. It’s easy to sell the apartments because it’s such a great development and people obviously know I think that too because I have bought one myself.”

Although Paul has now stopped dancing professionally, he still keeps up the hobby teaching teenagers jazz and tap-dancing.

He added: “It’s obviously a big career change coming to work for Redrow from a dancing background but I’m really enjoying it. I’ve always had a big interest in property, I really enjoy the contact we have with the customers and my colleagues are all brilliant.”

Celestia features a total of 457 homes in seven separate buildings – each named after a star.

These include a selection of one and two-bedroom properties, each with a parking space and starting at £176,995 and £186,995 respectively. There are also some two-bedroom penthouse apartments with double parking spaces, priced from £334,950.

Rachael Davies, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (South Wales), says: “Celestia has been a phenomenal success, a real shining star in Cardiff’s property market, but anyone who wants to be a part of it should catch it now – before it’s too late.”

With breath-taking views across Cardiff Bay and the buzz of vibrant city life, the Celestia apartments are in the prime location for those wanting to sample the best Cardiff has to offer.

Redrow’s development takes full advantage of Cardiff’s beautiful waterfront and colourful city, while the apartments epitomise a glamorous, contemporary and luxurious lifestyle.

The open-plan design of Redrow’s properties offers buyers contemporary style coupled with modern practicality, the sleek layout making it perfect for entertaining friends or colleagues, with the added ‘wow-factor’ of sights and sounds of the Bay.

Every apartment boasts a premium specification including wood flooring with walnut finish in the living/dining room, kitchen and hallway, limestone flooring and wall tiling to the bathroom/shower room and ceramic floor and wall tiling to en-suites.

The development is also within walking distance of the popular restaurants and shops of Mermaid Quay.

To be one of the last few lucky enough to catch a Cardiff star at Celestia, visit the on-site marketing suite open daily between 10am and 5.30pm, or visit the website at Celestia.redrow.co.uk.
