Out with the old, in with the new

29th February 2008 Print
Out with the old, in with the new Homebuyers looking for a new home, but worried about selling their existing property, will find help on hand from Redrow. The award-winning housebuilder is offering homehunters advice on part-exchange at its John Fielding Gardens development helping those customers who need to sell up before moving in.

The part exchange incentive on selected plots means Redrow will buy a customer’s existing property (subject to criteria) and effectively ‘swap’ it for a new home, taking the problem of finding a buyer, or becoming part of a chain, out of their hands and paving the way towards that new home.

Julie Ells, area sales manager for South Wales, said: “This is the ideal option for people who want to move right away, but are being held back by their current house. We can take care of all that for them, leaving them to concentrate on their dream Redrow property at John Fielding Gardens.

“Potential customer can visit the development to chat to our experienced sales consultants about how this offer could work for them and also take the opportunity to look around this superb development and two stunning show homes.”

The John Fielding Gardens development, on Newport Road in Cwmbran, offers a range of new homes including four & five bedroom homes, with current prices from £429,995 to £499,995.

The four-bedroom “Welford” features two en-suite bathrooms, fitted wardrobes a separate dining room, family room, study, utility room, under-stairs storage, a downstairs cloakroom and double garage, all from £429,995.

The five-bedroom Blenheim from £499,995, is a detached home with an integral double garage. It also features two en-suite bathrooms, a walk-in wardrobe, separate dining room, breakfast area, family room, utility room, under-stairs storage and a downstairs cloakroom.

All houses feature landscaped gardens and the nearby Celtic Manor Hotel and Golf Resort will host the 2010 Ryder Cup, adding some extra prestige to the location. It has excellent education opportunities with primary and secondary schools nearby, plus a prestigious private school within a mile of the development as well as easy access to the M4 with Bristol and London to the East and Cardiff and Swansea to the West.

Part exchange is one of the measures under the umbrella of ‘re:assure from Redrow’, which are all designed to give home buyers confidence and to help get them moving in the current housing market.

To provide added comfort and reassurance to prospective homebuyers, award winning Redrow Homes has introduced a ‘house price protection’ promise – helping to protect the value of its customers’ new homes for up to three years*.

As well as helping to protect the value of their new home, Redrow’s ‘re:assure’ package includes measures to help people sell their current property at the best possible price, or could include help with the monthly mortgage repayments for the first year or two.

* If a customer sells their new Redrow property during the qualifying period and gets less than they paid, Redrow will refund the difference up to 10% of the purchase price paid and for a period of up to three years from the date of legal completion. House price protection is available at most Redrow developments, with the exception of its low-cost, first time buyer Debut product. It cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount. Offer valid on all properties reserved up to and including Sunday, March 2nd 2008.
