Joe Cole’s Ferrari at BCA

BCA offers a unique opportunity to purchase the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti F1A formerly owned from new by Chelsea and England soccer star Joe Cole. The car will be sold in the Top Car sale at BCA Nottingham, which commences at 10.00 am on Thursday, 19 February.

Cole purchased the car in 2004 a year after he joined ‘Roman’s Revolution’ at Stamford Bridge. As you would expect of a car with a list price of £212,000, it boasts the finest specification, finished in metallic Nero Daytona Black with sand leather interior with additional options including 19-inch alloys, Sat Nav, F1 Paddle Shift gearbox, heated memory seats, red brake callipers and ceramic wing shields.

Powered by a 540bhp 5.7 litre V12 petrol engine that does 0-60 mph in 4.2 seconds and reaches a top speed 199 mph, the 612 Scaglietti is described as a civilised sporting grand tourer that will seat four people – just. There was an 18-month waiting list at launch and they remain exceptionally rare and exclusive.

The car comes with a full service history from Ferrari concessionaires Maranello’s at six-, ten- and twenty-thousand miles and has a warranted mileage of 27,500. It is expected to realise in excess of £60,000.
