Commuting couple fall for hidden gem

Commuting couple fall for hidden gem A high flying pair of Management Consultants have relocated to Rugby after falling in love with David Wilson East Midlands exquisite The Coppice development on Buchanan Road.

Matthew Francis and his fiancée Olga Budanova were living in a two- bedroom apartment in Surrey but felt a move further north would enable them to buy a much bigger home for their money.

The couple's jobs require frequent travel, so as long as they were near an airport, they were flexible as far as where they could live. The picturesque town of Rugby, which has aptly been described as a commuter's dream, has a fantastic transport network and fitted the bill perfectly.

After looking around a number of developments, the couple found their dream home at The Coppice.

Matthew says "As soon as we looked around The Coppice we knew this was exactly where we wanted to live. We'd looked around a lot of new developments but this one stood out from all the others. The houses weren't crammed together and you could tell that the street layout of the whole development had been thoughtfully designed.

Olga continues "David Wilson has a fantastic reputation for quality and service so this definitely appealed to us as buyers. The high specification and quality finish of the houses, as well as the five per cent deposit that David Wilson offered to pay, sealed the deal."

Matthew and Olga opted for a three- bedroom, three storey townhouse in the Hyde style.

The ground floor of this design boasts a large sitting room as well as an open plan kitchen and diner and cloakroom. The first floor comprises two bedrooms and the main bathroom whilst the third floor boasts the master bedroom with en-suite.

Matthew continues "The Hyde encompassed everything we needed from a layout perspective and unlike a lot of other three- storey houses, it remains a traditional house with the kitchen and sitting room on the ground floor, whilst flexible enough to accommodate our particular lifestyle.

"We love entertaining so the open plan dining room and kitchen is perfect for when we have friends over, I really like the double doors which lead off the dining room onto our garden too. We've also converted the third bedroom into an office which is handy as we both work from home on occasions, and means we have a separate work space away from our living area."

Matthew concludes "The before and after care service we've received from David Wilson has been second to none and Val our sales negotiator has been no end of help. We definitely wouldn't hesitate in recommending David Wilson to any prospective homebuyers."

Philip Lacey, Sales Director for David Wilson says "The Coppice is one of the most picturesque developments in the David Wilson portfolio so I'm not surprised Matthew and Olga fell in love with it as soon as they visited.

"Surrounded by mature trees and fields, The Coppice has aptly been described as a hidden gem and has proved extremely popular with homebuyers looking for quality houses in a tranquil and peaceful environment.

"David Wilson is committed to building homes of the highest standard so I'm thrilled Matthew and Olga are so pleased with their new home and the service they've received."

Just four properties remain at this popular development- a three- bedroom Hyde style, two four- bedroom detached homes in the styles of Rothley and Bardot plus the Hepburn showhome which is also a four- bedroom detached home.

Prices for the remaining properties range between £199,995 and £294,995.
