It’s show time at Caldecott Manor

It’s show time at Caldecott Manor It’s show time on Saturday 18th July on Rugby’s Boughton Road as George Wimpey West Midlands unveils a new-style four bedroom detached ‘Hatfield’ home.

Caldecott Manor is a flagship £35 million brownfield development of 230 new homes on the site of the former GEC plant - and is conveniently located just north of the railway station and a few minutes drive from Junction 1 of the M6.

So, be inspired by this ‘old traditional’ style executive property that features a large lounge with double fronted bay windows, separate dining room, master bedroom with ensuite and a delightful kitchen/breakfast room that opens onto the rear garden. Interiors are by the revered Claude Hooper Design and the look is contemporary classical with a luxurious mix of creams, beige and oak. They’ve also opted for finite detail throughout, from the tiles and accessories upwards, with the materials and colours chosen also reflected in the floor and wall finishes for a really opulent viewing experience.

Sales manager Jan Titley says: “This premier showhome is suitably special and it’s much anticipated by customers who have already bought into the more traditional product mix with the emphasis on two storey homes with gardens and garages. The detached homes, especially, will really appeal to local growing families wanting more space but continued access to good schooling and superior facilities, because we’re very close to the new Tesco supermarket and both the Elliot’s Field and Junction One leisure and retail parks.”

Caldecott Manor is made up of luxury apartments, mews and detached style homes plus spacious, executive properties – set in a much improved landscape and located just over a mile north of Rugby town centre. Boasting picturesque views to three boundaries (canal, brook, open space), it has dramatically improved the look and appeal of Boughton Road.

And business is building nicely with a record seven sales in just one week recently. Customer satisfaction levels are also shooting through the roof with 100% of customers on Caldecott Manor saying they would ‘recommend the company to family and friends’!
The results are from year-to-date Customer Satisfaction surveys, which are independently carried out by the National House Building Council (NHBC) and whose primary purpose is to raise standards in the new house-building industry. Questions such as ‘quality of home’, ‘finish of home’, ‘service before moving in’, and ‘home handed over exactly as expected’ also scored 100% for the company.

Ms Titley adds: “Seven sales in one week is quite exceptional, especially in today’s tougher economic climate, so we’re delighted at the progress being made. Despite the current property trend, both visitor levels and sales here have been really encouraging - and we remain cautiously optimistic because the desire to buy a new build home is still there, plus more sustainable price levels give us confidence in the affordability of new homes now and for the future. Additionally, lowest ever mortgage interest rates, more realistic house prices and the host of practical deals and incentives we’re offering are also proving very attractive to buyers.”

Current availability includes the four bedroom detached Highclere with garage and feature dining room and master bedroom ensuite from just £209,995, while the Hatfield now starts from just £210,000. And larger four bedroom detached homes with garage in the new Sandringham style are £229,995.
