Ford best and worst in Leasedrive Velo Group survey
In an online survey of over 600 drivers by the Leasedrive Velo Group, one of the largest independent privately-owned vehicle management groups in the UK, the Ford Mondeo was voted the best and worst company car ever driven!Roddy Graham, commercial director at Leasedrive Velo Group said: “Without question the majority of respondents who singled out the Ford Mondeo as the worst company car they had ever driven were recalling earlier versions as the latest model has received widespread acclaim and is also considered the best company car driven by our sample.”
Of the drivers surveyed, 13 per cent considered the new Ford Mondeo the best company car they had ever driven, eight per cent considered the BMW 3 Series the best, seven per cent the VW Golf, six per cent the Audi A4 and four per cent the VW Passat.
When it came to optional extras, 67 per cent would opt for air conditioning, 23 per cent for a satellite navigation system and ten per cent for Bluetooth.
The five worst company cars ever driven were the Ford Mondeo (11 per cent), the Vauxhall Vectra (eight per cent), the Vauxhall Astra (five per cent), the Ford Focus (four per cent) and the Renault Laguna (three percent).
