RVM Auto Assist launches Accident Aftercare for dealers

RVM Auto Assist, the Leeds-based accident management specialist, has launched a new accident and claims management service specifically for motor dealerships.

Accident Aftercare provides dealers with an opportunity to enhance their service to customers while at the same time generating revenue from accident repair work, parts sales and commissions on credit hire replacement vehicles.

RVM Auto Assist offers dealers their own branded Accident Aftercare service, complete with prestigious scheme membership packs for all customers and a dedicated 24/7 freephone claims hotline for customers to ring in the event of an accident.

Customers will receive immediate advice and assistance from RVM's highly skilled claims team, including, where required, help at the scene of the accident and roadside recovery.

Where a customer is involved in an accident but is not at fault they will be provided with a replacement like-for-like vehicle while theirs is off the road.

Where possible, it will be the latest model of their existing vehicle, encouraging loyalty to the marque and the dealer.

RVM Auto Assist will also arrange for repair work to be carried out in the dealer's own or other nominated bodyshop, thus generating labour and part sales while also protecting the customer by providing quality repairs through a manufacturer-approved repairer.

In the event a customer is at fault in the accident, they will be advised of their options including the option to have repair work carried out by their dealer's nominated repair shop and the option of taking, at their cost, a like- for-like replacement vehicle rather than a standard Group A courtesy car.

RVM Auto Assist has invested heavily in a state of the art system designed to automate and streamline claims management processes. It ensures claims are handled in a timely and efficient manner, further enhancing the dealer's reputation with its customers.
