Launceston’s summer scorchers Homebuyers eager to settle down in a picturesque Launceston development can look forward to an open house weekend this Saturday and Sunday (7th / 8th July).

The doors of Redrow’s Stourscombe Vale development are being well and truly thrown open for the weekend – with a range of properties open so visitors can envisage what it would be like to live in this attractive Cornish development.

And, as an added incentive, Redrow is offering some scorching summer deals on selected plots, with customers able to choose from part-exchange, stamp duty paid or £500 per month towards their mortgage for two years.

Pat Kimber, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (South West), says: “We’re looking forward to welcoming lots of visitors to Stourscombe Vale at the weekend; an open house weekend gives potential homebuyers an opportunity to really get a feel for the development.

“We’ll have a selection of three and four-bedroom properties open for visitors to see, including a ‘Ribble’ show home that has been decorated and furnished to create a real and lasting impression of a lived-in family home and inspire people as to how their own new home could look.

“The availability of special incentives on selected plots will potentially save purchasers thousands of pounds and / or help them to move quickly and with the minimum of fuss.”
Properties featured in the open house weekend also include ‘Hardwick’ and ‘Ouse’ house types – priced from £194,995 and £235,000 respectively.

The Ouse home is an elegant, semi-detached property with four spacious bedrooms and an en-suite bathroom. It also enjoys an open-plan kitchen/diner and a utility room, as well as providing plenty of storage space.

The three-bedroom Hardwick property boasts a separate dining room – great for entertaining – en-suite to master bedroom, and under-stairs storage, as well as a down stairs cloakroom.

Stourscombe Vale is located on the outskirts of the picturesque market town of Launceston, Cornwall and has a wide range of amenities close at hand – from a well-equipped sports centre, shops and pubs to the beautiful Cornish countryside that is home to the Tamar Valley Discovery Trail and the Two Castles Trail for nature and sports enthusiasts.

Historically known as the ‘ancient capital of Cornwall’, Launceston provides the perfect balance of traditional Cornish life with the needs and wants of 21st Century living.
