Part exchange to a new life in Cornwall

Part exchange to a new life in Cornwall Part exchange is now available on family homes at Barratt’s stunning Canyke Fields development in Bodmin in Cornwall, which lies close to the Beacon Nature Reserve. A number of buyers have already taken advantage of Barratt’s part exchange option to start a new life in Cornwall.

These include Stephen and Janice Collingwood, who relocated from Nottingham to Kelly Bray near Callington and the scheme is now available at Canyke Fields.

“We were already living in a new Barratt house but I had to move within commuting distance of Plymouth for my work,” said Stephen (50), a manager for a leading telephone company.

“Barratt’s part exchange package was perfect and we found the ideal new home at the Calcos Place development, just a 30-minute drive from the city. We chose a three-bedroom Maidstone house as my son still lives with us and my daughter is away at university.

“My mother has now bought a two-bedroom apartment at the same development, also through the part exchange scheme, so the move has been something of a family affair,” Stephen added.

Mary Daymond, Barratt sales manager said: “Our part exchange scheme is specially designed to help people buy the home they want and to make the move as stress free as possible.

“It removes all the uncertainty, because Barratt is a guaranteed cash buyer - so there is no chain, no last-minute price haggling and no hidden expense - and we also cover the cost of HIPs.’’

When complete, Canyke Fields will offer a range of two, three and four-bedroom homes. Current availability includes a four-bedroom Radleigh house priced at £262,500, and a three-bedroom Essex house priced at £187,950. Part exchange is available on both properties.

Canyke Fields is located in Gilbert Road, Bodmin, and lies close to the A389, offering easy links to Wadebridge and the coastal resort of Newquay. The A30 and A38 provide access to the thriving cities of Truro and Plymouth. The Beacon Nature Reserve offers stunning views of the local moors and coastline.
