ReMIT launches Body and Paint apprenticeship programme
Motor Industry apprentice training provider ReMIT launches its brand new Body Repair and Paint apprenticeship programme on Thursday 30 April 2009.The new Body Repair and Paint apprenticeship programme will feature off the job training delivered at Toyota’s state of the art facilities in the Highfields Automotive and Engineering Centre in Nottingham. The workshops include a Junair booth and mixing room with viewing gallery and a Junair aluminium repair bay. In addition there is a full range of body repair equipment including mig welding and spot welding.
Training is scheduled to commence in the summer and employers can register their interest now. The programme is open to apprentices from anywhere in the country and ReMIT will organise accommodation for apprentices where necessary.
ReMIT can also assist any employer in securing a suitable apprentice.
Employers from the Body Repair industry are invited to view the facilities and learn about the training programmes at a lunchtime launch on Thursday 30 April 2009. Plans are underway for well known personalities to be present at the launch and employers can get full details and book their place by calling 01623 410033.
Commenting on the new programme, ReMIT Chief Executive Rob Foulston said: ‘The Nottinghamshire area has not had a local body and paint training facility for some years and this initiative will provide a high quality training solution for some 350 employers in Nottinghamshire and the surrounding East Midlands counties.’
