New Acer Aspire M lineup

Acer has announced the introduction of the Aspire M5300 and M3300, a new lineup of desktop computers combining aesthetics and functionality and capable to handle everyday computing needs as well as offer an outstanding entertainment experience.

A choice of powerful AMD Phenom II processors with their quad-core technology ensure the new Aspire M desktops deliver crystal-clear digital media, manage serious multitasking and productivity tasks with ease, let you create advanced graphics and visuals and engage in intensive gaming. Owing to DDR3 memory architecture, the new desktops can speed through any computing job. What’s more, AMD chipsets with integrated ATI Radeon Graphics or support for high-end graphic solutions provide an unmatched gaming experience, dazzling colours and lifelike picture quality on a quiet PC.

Equipped with high capacity SATA hard disk drives, with as much as 1.5 TB of space, the Aspire M desktops have ample room to archive all your multimedia files. Second generation PCI Express optimizes computer components, such as high-end discrete graphics cards and network cards for the fastest performance available. Three internal drive bays give abundant space for expansion. A multi-in-one card reader supporting a wide variety of memory cards offers a practical cable-less, tangle-free file transfer solution. On top of the case are a covered storage compartment for cables and digital devices and several ports for easy access.

A brushed-metal finish gives the Aspire M5300 a chic and refined look, further enhanced by a transparent vertical side strip with coloured LEDs shining through. With a light pressure, the front of the top deck pops up to reveal a multi-in-one card reader. Pleasing to the eye, the Aspire blends seamlessly into any room of your house.

Thanks to optimized 3rd generation Dolby Home Theater and support for high-end graphic cards, the Aspire M5300 delivers vivid imagery and immersive sound, for a terrific entertainment experience. Besides, an optional hybrid TV-tuner lets you catch your favourite shows on your PC and make high-quality recordings with the optional BD/SuperMulti burner.

High-definition audio with 7.1-channel surround sound combined with optimized 3rd generation Dolby Home Theater delivers amazing sound quality and gives a theater-like experience. Add an HDMI port that uses a single cable to transmit digital video and audio signal in an uncompressed format and the M3300 is ready for the best multimedia. To further enhance your entertainment experience, the Aspire M3300 can be equipped with an optional digital and analogue hybrid TV-tuner to watch both traditional and digital TV, record your favourite shows and capture videos. Encased in a glossy black cabinet, the Aspire M3300 has a trendy and elegant design, with easy-to-access USB and audio ports on top along with a covered storaged deck.

The Acer M series desktops come pre-installed with Genuine Windows Vista Home Premium and can also be specified with Linpus Linux X Window. FreeDOS is available, too. Additional pre-installed software includes Acer eRecovery Management, Acer GameZone, Acer Arcade Deluxe; Microsoft Office 2007 Trial with Microsoft Works, eSobi, McAfee Internet Security Suite Trial, Adobe Reader, CyberLink PowerDirector4 DE, CyberLink MediaShow DEX, MyWinLocker and NTI Media Maker.
