Focus on Thatcham : Triple Focus 17th – 18th June

Thatcham are pleased to confirm the dates for the 2009 Triple Focus show, the much anticipated live event for vehicle security, motor insurer and crash repair specialists, live from Thatcham’s own research workshop.

Action packed as always, this year’s show will be held on 17th and 18th June with Security/Insurer Focus and Repairer Focus as the central themes, each day will also include a range of popular and new attractions to complement the central product exhibition, including:

The latest products put through their paces in a series of live demonstrations.

The British Insurance Car Security Awards 2009
Another opportunity to recognise the efforts of vehicle manufacturers, as the most secure cars in their class are revealed.

Green Focus
New for 2009, some of the most forward thinking vehicle manufacturers showcase their green credentials with a display of new technologies, sure to interest insurers and repairers in particular.

Live Competition as the Thatcham/Bodyshop ‘Craft Awards’ entrants young and experienced compete for the title of Best Paint Technician and Best Panel Technician, and to see who might go forward to represent Great Britain at the 2011 Worldskills competition in London.

The Thatcham Village will provide an insight into some of the latest developments and issues in the areas of repair research, safety and security as Thatcham celebrate forty years of standard setting in the automotive industry.

The Apprentice Graduation will see the next generation of vehicle repairers passing out of Thatcham after successfully completing their apprenticeships.
