Ryanair celebrates 9 million passengers at London Luton

Ryanair today (November 17th) announced that it had carried a record 9M through London Luton Airport since it commenced operation to there in May 1986 with a scheduled route from Dublin. Ryanair based its first of 4 aircraft at London Luton in January 2005 and now operates twelve routes from London Luton at the airport's lowest fares.

Speaking today, Caroline Baldwin, Ryanair's Sales & Marketing Manager for the UK said: "Only Ryanair offers the lowest fares from Luton and today's significant milestone of 9M passengers is a testament to our lowest fares and best on time performance.
