Ryanair announces new routes from Liverpool

Ryanair, Europe’s largest low fares airline has announced 2 new routes from Liverpool John Lennon Airport. This expansion brings Ryanair’s total number of routes served from JLA to 35.

From March and April this year Ryanair are adding Palma and Alicante to their extensive route network from JLA. Ryanair will then serve a total of nine routes to Spain.

The announcement in Liverpool is part of a European wide announcement of 16 new routes and Ryanair’s 19th Base in Dusseldorf. Europe’s lowest fares will now be available to four new airports; Alicante (Spain), Maastricht (Netherlands), Palma de Mallorca (Spain) and Zadar (Croatia). Ryanair now operates 454 low fare routes from 130 airports across Europe.

Announcing the expansion, Caroline Baldwin, Ryanair’s Sales & Marketing Manager for the UK said;

“These two fabulous new routes increase the massive lead Ryanair has on Easyjet offering the most choice and the lowest fares to Merseyside consumers. Ryanair now operates 35 routes to 12 European countries from JLA. This year at Liverpool Airport almost 2 million passengers will save €120Million with Ryanair’s lowest fares and no fuel surcharge guarantee this year.

“These new routes are available for immediate booking on ryanair.com, and to celebrate we are offering 5 million free seats, so passengers should get online immediately, before they are all snapped up”.
