Ryanair offers 10,000 flights for just £10 from Derry Airport

Ryanair has this week celebrated eight years of flying from City of Derry airport by offering 10,000 flights for just £10 on Ryanair’s routes from the airport. Ryanair started flying at City of Derry in July 1999 and in the past year has added 4 new routes to East Midlands, Liverpool, Glasgow and Bristol that will see annual passenger numbers rocket to 500,000.

Speaking today Peter Sherrard, Ryanair’s Head of Communications said:

“Ryanair’s low fares have revolutionised travel to and from the North West and in the past 8 years the 1.2m passengers who have flown with us from City of Derry have saved £120m.

“These 10,000 £10 seats are available during the peak months of July and August so we advise passengers to snap up a summer bargain today on Ryanair.com”.
