Record bookings for Ryanair’s new Bristol routes
Ryanair, Europe’s largest low fares airline, has announced record advance bookings on 13 new routes from Bristol. Over 100,000 passengers have booked seats so far, since the new base was launched just 8 weeks ago.Ryanair have seen massive demand for low fares travel in Bristol with new routes to Dinard, Knock, Derry, Milan, Bratislava, Katowice, Porto, Poznan, Rzeszow, Wroclaw, Salzburg, Budapest and Riga. Ryanair will fly 1.2Million passengers in the first year from Bristol, generating a tourism spend of £90Million.
Announcing the record passenger numbers in Bristol today, Ryanair’s Caroline Baldwin commented;
“Since we launched these new routes at Bristol, we’ve been inundated with bookings. This unprecedented demand has seen over 3,000 Bristolians a day snapping up our low fares to new destinations such as Milan, Dinard, Knock and Derry.
“We expect these record breaking bookings to continue to rise, as passengers plan their autumn and winter trips.
“Ryanair have seen passenger numbers go through the roof because we’re giving Bristolians exactly what they want – the lowest fares guaranteed and best customer service.
“We’ve just made available thousands of fares from Bristol from just £10 one-way including all taxes. But, going by the record bookings so far, these low fares will be gone before you know it, so we advise passengers to book straight away.”
