Ryanair adds Rugby World Cup flights

14th August 2007 Print
Ryanair, Europe’s largest low fares airline, has announced it will operate extra services from both England and Ireland for the Rugby World Cup. Ryanair will launch special flights from London to Paris for England’s Rugby World Cup match against South Africa, as well as extra flights to Paris from both Dublin and Shannon for Ireland’s matches against France and Argentina.

These special Ryanair services will ensure that Irish and English fans will be able to get to the World Cup for the lowest fares guaranteed.

Speaking today, Sinead Finn, Ryanair’s Head of Sales and Marketing said:

“Ryanair is the fans’ favourite for the lowest fares guaranteed, and these extra flights will give fans the chance to travel to the Rugby World Cup for a fraction of the high fares charged by other airlines.

“We urge all rugby fans to book immediately on Ryanair.com, as demand for these extra flights will be very strong.”
