New route from Luton to Kerry for Ryanair
Ryanair, Europe's largest low fares airline announced a new route from London Luton to Kerry. The new route will start on November 6 2007, bringing the total number of destinations served from London Luton to thirteen.Ryanair currently operate a 3 times daily service from London Stansted to Shannon. The company will increase daily frequency from 3 to 4 daily on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, from 8 November 2007.
Announcing the new route, Ryanair's UK Deputy Marketing Manager Elaine Duff said: "Ryanair is delighted to add this new route which will deliver 40,000 passengers in the first year through Luton Airport. Since commencing operations at London Luton in 1986, Ryanair has carried in excess of 10 million passengers.
"Our new service to Kerry brings Ryanair's total annual passenger numbers at Luton to 1.6m, sustaining 1600 jobs in the region.
"The new route from London Luton to Kerry and the additional frequency from London Stansted to Shannon go on sale today. To celebrate, Ryanair have free* flights (just pay taxes & charges) available for booking on Ryanair.com. We urge passengers to book today as these flights will be snapped up quickly."
