Ryanair in new agreement with SAGAT, Turin Airport

16th January 2008 Print
Ryanair has announced a new agreement with SAGAT which supports the continuation of a daily service from London Stansted to Turin Airport. This route, which has been in operation for 8 years and is one of Ryanair’s longest established routes to Italy, is a critically important link for the province of Piemonte for both business and tourist purposes and yields very significant economic benefits for the region.

Ryanair and Turin Airport have decided to relaunch the arrangements which is the result of the good relationship between the airline and the airport which now ensures the future of this route and continuation of the availability of Ryanair’s guaranteed lowest fares to both inbound visitors and citizens of Turin.

Announcing the new agreement, Ryanair’s Deputy Chief Executive, Michael Cawley, said

“We are delighted to continue our very successful relationship with Turin Airport. In addition to the London route which has now been confirmed for the future, Ryanair also operates seasonal ski routes from Dublin, Bristol and Brussels Charleroi and looks forward to increasing this business in the coming years”.
