Ryanair launches charity calendar partner search

Ryanair is inviting applications from registered charities who wish to partner with Ryanair for its 2009 Cabin Crew Charity Calendar. The 2009 Calendar will go on sale on November 1 and the charity chosen by Ryanair will receive all proceeds from calendar sales.

Last year, Ryanair’s Cabin Crew Charity Calendar sold out its entire print run of 10,000 copies within days of the launch, raising €70,000 for the Angels Quest Charity, which enabled them to complete a brand-new respite home for children in Dublin.

If you are a registered charity and want to be chosen as Ryanair’s charity partner for 2009, then please send your application to: ryanaircharitycalendar@ryanair.com.

- What would the proceeds of the 2009 Charity Calendar be specifically used for.
- Your suggestions for our 2009 Cabin Crew Charity Calendar.

Speaking today, Ryanair’s Eddie Wilson said: “Last year’s Cabin Crew Charity Calendar was a phenomenal success with all 10,000 copies being snapped up within days of the launch raising €70,000 for the Angels Quest charity in Dublin.

“This year, we are inviting interested charities to tell us why they deserve to be chosen as our partner for the 2009 Ryanair Cabin Crew Charity Calendar. There is no shortage of volunteers for Ryanair’s calendar, with crew only too willing to strip off for charity.
