Ryanair postpones services at Dusseldorf
Ryanair yesterday announced that due to strike action at Boeing it has had to postpone the operation of 11 new routes from Dusseldorf (Weeze). As a direct result of this strike, which has delayed the delivery of new aircraft, Ryanair has had to cancel 20 return services to/from Dusseldorf (Weeze) which were due to operate on the 27th, 28th and 29th October (please see below for routes affected).Passengers who were due to travel on these cancelled services will receive a full refund from Ryanair.
Announcing the cancellations, Ryanair’s, Michael Cawley, said:
“We sincerely regret the forced cancellation of these new services to/from Dusseldorf (Weeze) which affects the 11 new routes which were due to begin on 27th October. However, we assure passenger that this is a temporary disruption to our schedule and we have secured an aircraft to operate the new services from 30th October.
“We sincerely apologise to all our passengers for the inconvenience caused by this change to our schedule. I hope passengers understand that it is due to circumstances over which we have no control and I hope to see these passengers onboard one of these exciting new services soon. ”
