Get tyre’d out at Race Retro with a pit crew challenge You have seen the pit crew change the tyres on Lewis Hamilton’s Formula 1 car in a matter of seconds in a championship race but how would you and a team mate fair? Well find out at this year’s Race Retro, held 13-15 March at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, as it challenges teams of two to change the wheel on a racing car against the clock in a bid to win prizes.

If you and your club or team mates fancy your chances as a race pit or rally service crew, why not enter the Race Retro Demon Tweeks speed wheel changing contest? Entrants will test their skills on a classic rally prepared 998 Hillman Imp, last used on the Monte Carlo Classic Challenge.

Entry into the competition is completely free and is open to teams of two. You and your team mate will need to remove and replace a front and rear wheel from the Imp using the Demon Tweeks supplied aluminium racing jack and speed wheelbrace. Contestants will be timed and the team taking the least time to complete the wheel change will take the aluminium racing jack and wheelbrace home as their prize at the end of the show. All contestants will receive a complimentary Demon Tweeks goody bag.

This will be a fun event with live commentary by Steve Parrish taking time off from his busy Moto GP schedule to join in the action at Race Retro and host the live stage, which is perfectly placed by the Retro Racer Café and the Fire Engine Bar.

And for the 'anoraks' in our midst, test your motorsport knowledge as we play a 'Question of Motorsport'. With quizmasters Tony Mason and Steve Parrish in the chair, two visitors will join our celebrity team captains in a series of rounds answering a wide ranging selection of motorsport and motorcycle sport questions. The winning team will take away car and bike preparation product packs from Meguiar's market leading range and various other prizes ranging from motorsport magazine subscriptions, motorsport memorabilia, and much more.

For timings and to enter the competitions, visit the live stage in Hall 3 where you will also see interviews with our celebrity drivers and riders including Rauno Aaltonen and Mark Higgins and have the opportunity to take part in Q&A sessions. There will also be various book launches and lively discussions with various representatives from the World of motorsport.
