Ryanair launches 0% credit card offer

Ryanair today (26th May 09) launched an online credit card offer providing 0% interest for the first 10 months on balance transfers, which is four months longer than any other credit card 0% “deal” currently available.

Ryanair’s 10 month interest free period allows extra time for new customers to reorganise their finances. The rate thereafter and on card purchases is 14.9% APR (variable).

Ryanair’s offer also rewards new customers, with a bonus return flight of their choice from a selection of top European destinations and the opportunity to earn bonus flights just by using their credit card. The Ryanair Credit Card, offered through MBNA Ireland, offers a 24 hour customer helpline and online banking to allow customers to transfer balances, view statements and monitor recent transactions.

Ryanair’s Stephen McNamara, said:

“Ryanair continues to lower fares in order to ensure passengers can continue to travel during the recession and we now introduce an unbeatable credit card offer of 0% interest for the first 10 months to allow customers extra time to pay off their credit or store card balances. Those taking advantage of our latest offer can also jet away to a host of European destinations as a reward for taking the first step in reorganising their finances”.
