Momondo to feature Ryanair flight info

Ryanair has announced that it has signed a licensing agreement with Momondo.com, a “price comparison only” website, which will now see Ryanair.com’s guaranteed lowest fares displayed on Momondo’s travel search engine.

Ryanair’s licensing agreement, which is subject to a €100 charitable donation by Momondo, will allow Momondo.com to access Ryanair.com’s timetable and pricing information in order to compare Ryanair’s guaranteed lowest fares with those of high fares, fuel surcharging, competitor airlines.

Ryanair’s Stephen McNamara said:

“Only Ryanair offers passengers the guaranteed lowest fares, which are only available at ryanair.com. Our new licence agreement with momondo.com will allow our fares to be listed on their travel search engine and will prove to more and more consumers that Ryanair’s guaranteed lowest fares can not be beaten. All licence fees will be donated by Ryanair to charity.

“Ryanair will continue to fight against “ticket-tout” screenscrapers which are reselling Ryanair seats without authorisation and are overcharging consumers with inflated fares and fictitious fuel surcharges. Consumers can now use momondo.com to compare fares safe in the knowledge that they will be directed to ryanair.com to book Ryanair’s guaranteed lowest fares”.
