Ryanair launches SMS confirmation service

Ryanair, Europe’s largest low fares airline, today (8th June 09) announced a new partnership with 15 Below to deliver booking confirmation numbers directly to passenger mobile phones via SMS message for just £1. Ryanair passengers will no longer have to print out confirmation emails as their itinerary can be sent to their mobile within 24 hours of booking.

Ryanair’s, Stephen McNamara, said:

“Ryanair will carry 67m passengers this year thanks to our guaranteed lowest fares and no fuel surcharges and this service will allow passengers the convenience of having their confirmation number delivered directly to their mobile phone. This will make travelling with Ryanair even easier as passengers will no longer have to print out their confirmation email, but simply refer to their mobile phone for their flight details.”

15 Below’s Managing Director, Nicholas Key, said:
