Ryanair launches €1 September seat sale
Ryanair today (27 July) celebrated a six fold increase in its Q1 profits (from €21m to €136m) by releasing 1 million seats at an all inclusive price of €1 for travel in September and October.These €1 fares are available on over 500 of Ryanair’s European routes but must be booked on ryanair.com before midnight (24:00hrs) Thursday (30th July).
These €1 tickets include all taxes and charges so passengers who chose to avoid discretionary fees by paying with Visa Electron, travel with carry on luggage only and forego priority boarding can fly for this advertised €1 fare.
Ryanair’s Daniel de Carvalho said:
“Ryanair provides Europe’s lowest fares and a no fuel surcharge guarantee. We continue to grow traffic rapidly thanks to our low fares. In today’s Q1 results, Ryanair’s average fare fell by 13% to just €37 yet our profits increased six fold from €21m to €136m and to celebrate we are releasing 1million €1 seats for travel on over 500 European destinations during September and October. These seats can be booked until 24:00hrs Thursday (30th July) and are sure to be snapped up fast so we urge passengers to book them on ryanair.com today, before they sell out”.
