Ryanair says ‘Yes to Europe’
Ryanair today (Wednesday 2 September 2009) released one million ‘Yes to Europe’ free seats for travel in October and November as it urged Irish passengers to vote ‘Yes to Europe’ on 2 October.These free fares are available on over 500 great European routes but must be booked on ryanair.com before midnight on Thursday 3 September.
Ryanair’s ‘Yes to Europe’ free seats include all taxes and charges so passengers who chose to avoid discretionary fees by paying with Visa Electron, travel with carry-on luggage only and forego priority boarding can fly for this absolutely free fare.
Ryanair’s Stephen McNamara said; “Ryanair is urging Irish citizens to vote ‘Yes to Europe’ on October 2 by releasing 1 million free seats to remind all passenger that the EU paved the way for Ryanair to develop low fares - freeing Irish passengers from the state-owned high fares monopoly, Aer Lingus.
“Ryanair has taken on the high fares flag carrier airlines throughout Europe, delivering low fares to consumers in 26 countries. These ‘Yes to Europe’ free seats are available on over 500 European destinations for travel in October and November.
"These seats can be booked until midnight tomorrow (Thursday 3 September) but are sure to be snapped up fast, so we urge passengers to book them on ryanair.com today before they sell out”.
