Euro Car Parts to open new branches and create 100 jobs
Motorists will welcome the news that Euro Car Parts (ECP), the UK's leading aftermarket parts supplier, is to open a further four branches in 2009 creating 100 new jobs.Bucking the trend in the crisis-ridden automotive sector, Euro Car Parts also revealed 2008 sales of £145m, an increase of 22% over 2007, with pre-tax profits almost doubling to £6.6m.
The four new branches will extend ECP service to parts of the UK not serviced currently or in other cases improve proximity to areas already covered.
An increasing number of motorists make cost savings by buying discounted car parts from ECP before contracting their own mechanic to fit them.
David Bevan, ECP director, commented: "In the current economic climate motorists are keeping their cars longer and car maintenance is critical in maintaining their mobility. ECP are pleased to open more branches that will increase the availability of discounted car parts to motorists."
In addition four existing branches are currently being refurbished and further plans are in place for expansion across the UK.
