National draw raises £8,959 for BEN Birmingham man Thomas Tattam was the lucky winner of a brand new Peugeot 107 Verve in a national draw held to raise money for BEN, the Automotive Industry’s Charity.

The car was donated by Peugeot and tickets for the raffle were sold at motor shows across the UK and raised £8,959 for BEN.

Thomas collected his ‘09 registration Peugeot 107 Verve from Robins and Day Peugeot, Castle Bromwich. The keys were handed over by Peugeot’s Paul Cole and Charles Davis, Director of Fundraising and Communications for BEN.

A spokesperson for Peugeot said, "Peugeot is proud to support BEN, the automotive industry's own charity, and the great work they do supporting the thousands of men, women and children in the motoring community who need their help. We hope that Thomas enjoys his car and our grateful thanks go to everyone involved."

Speaking of Peugeot’s support for Ben, Charles Davis said, “In these trying times more and more people in the motor industry are turning to BEN, your industry’s charity. BEN relies on the support of companies like Peugeot to allow us to reach out and help over 15,000 men, women and children who are in desperate need of help. I would like to thank Peugeot for their generous donation of this 107 Verve and also to congratulate Thomas on his win.”
