To help passengers unwind, bmibaby will introduce a new dedicated detox zone on selected flights, offering free massages and life coaching. The bmibaby detox zone will include onboard masseuses who will offer hand and head massages to de-stress passengers.

In addition an onboard life coach will be on hand to help passengers ensure they achieve their goals in 2009. Throughout January bmibaby is encouraging passengers to beat the January blues and detox, whether it is by getting fit, giving up bad habits or taking some time out to relax in the sunshine.

Crawford Rix, managing director, bmibaby, said:

“The onboard detox zone will give passengers the chance to start their trip feeling relaxed and ready to reap the benefits of a break away. Then when they reach their destination, the detox can continue, whether it is through gaining essential vitamins from the winter sunshine or by kick starting an exercise plan with a ski break.

“The new year is a time when people often make resolutions. Our resolution is to help our customers detox by providing low cost flights to attractive destinations.”

bmibaby offers many ways to make the flying experience as stress free as possible, from offering airport executive lounges for passengers to relax in, to online check in thus avoiding the queues. bmibaby aim to make flying a more enjoyable experience.
