Flights from East Midlands to:

- Menorca (Mahon) now up to four flights a week
- Almeria now up to four flights a week

Flights from Manchester to:

Crawford Rix, managing director, bmibaby, said:

“We are seeing strong demand from passengers for flights to typical summer sun destinations. As a result we are adding in extra capacity from the East Midlands to Menorca and Almeria, from Birmingham to Murcia, Faro, Malaga and Alicante, and from Manchester to Palma.

“The additional weekly flights will allow us to carry over 2,000 extra passengers to popular sun destinations every week. The extra capacity will also make bmibaby the largest low cost carrier flying from the Midlands to the Mediterranean, and our great low fares mean that people can still afford to get away for a holiday this year.”

bmibaby recently launched new routes from East Midlands Airport to Almeria and Menorca, from Birmingham International Airport to Newquay, and from Manchester to Amsterdam and Toulouse.
